No Kid Without a Christmas -- Keweenaw County 2011

CLK Rotary contributes both money and time to Sheriff Ron Lahti’s "No Kid Without a Christmas" (NKWC) program. The Club budgeted $500 this year for this project and members contributed additional funds. In addition, Rotarians help to organize Christmas gifts for distribution.

This year, gifts were distributed to over 100 needy kids in the northern Keweenaw Peninsula. Gifts were prepared for distribution on Dec. 19^th with the help of  CLK Rotary members.

Dick Schaefer may have arrived a few minutes late, but he certainly set the pace for subsequent activity.		After most of the "heavy lifting" was done, Santa (Sheriff Lahti) met with the CLK Rotary "elves" to assess the progress.
